It is hard to decide what to give to perspective parents as a baby gift, and I hope that this Blog will be a way of determining, what Jeremy and Kerri need for their baby, what they want and what they already have! If you're familiar with Wedding Registries... This is my version of a Baby Registry!
Here's the deal:
1. Kerri and Jeremy have promised not to look at this blog, therefore they will not know in advance what you have decide to get them for a gift.
2. From Kerri and Jeremy directly, I will continually update a 'Needs' section of the blog, that will list specific needs and wants of the new family.
3. This blog will list, in real time -- baby stuff that Kerri and Jeremy have either bought for themselves, have had given to them or that friends and family have brought as gifts... 'Stuff they already have'. Thus avoiding a gift that is a duplicate (unless you think they need more than one! )
How to do it:
1. When/if you buy something for the expanding Davies Geisel family, please email me directly at kristytdavies@gmail.com, or simply click 'comment' to let me know what you have bought. I will then place that item (anonymously) in the 'Stuff they already have' category.
2. To see if anyone else has already purchased a specific gift, please see the 'Stuff they already have' category.
3. If you're looking for gift ideas, please simply browse the 'Needs' section to see what has not yet been given or bought.
4. If there is a specific item you were planning to buy, that is not listed in either 'Needs' or 'Stuff they already have'.. please send a comment, email me directly or ask Kerri or Jeremy directly. Perhaps they just don't think they have room for it or perhaps they didn't even know such a thing existed!
